Eckert Consulting LLC was founded in 2013 when the principal was invited to work as a FEMA Public Assistance expert for the City of New York following Hurricane Sandy.  Since then, Eckert Consulting has managed and guided the City of New York in their massive FEMA PA portfolio which now spans three major disasters (Sandy, COVID-19 and Ida) and totals over $15B worth of FEMA PA funding.

Eckert Consulting is passionate and committed in supporting FEMA Public Assistance (PA) applicants in their navigation of the complex and often bureaucratic federal funding program.  We pride ourselves in simplifying the FEMA PA process by providing straightforward and comprehensible issue resolution services to applicants as they recover from their traumatic disaster experience.  We are aware that a disaster response and recovery period is a very trying and difficult time for applicants and that they are often overburdened due to their new response and recovery efforts being in excess of their standard duties.  That’s why we make ourselves available to assist FEMA PA applicants as much as they need and desire.  We are here to help!
